Prime Rib in the Park is a joint endeavor by the Fairfield Host Lions Club and the Fairfield Community Services Foundation to benefit the city’s Fun on the Run after-school mobile recreation programs for children.
The dinner features all the fixings, dessert, wine tapped from a barrel and, or course, prime rib right off the grill. Auctions and live entertainment will round out the festivities. Prime Rib in the Park benefits the award winning Fun on the Run (FOTR) program.
The Fairfield Host Lions Club has been a major supporter of FOTR since 2004, when they implemented the Prime Rib in the Park Fundraiser. Nancy Meadows Trigueiro, a Lion Club member, has chaired this event since its inception. More than 200 community supporters attend the sold out event held at the Daily Republic’s private park.
Social hour starts at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.
